I am an artist based in Leipzig – yet my thoughts wander to places where mist hovers over the grass and a creature silently returns your gaze.
Animals are my teachers. In their stillness, their uniqueness, their dignity, I find what calls me to paint.
My art is touched by the spirit of Japan – by reduction, by the beauty of imperfection, by the silence between two breaths. With brush, pigment and canvas, I search for the essence: not the loud, but that which works in secret.
Each piece carries traces of closeness, reverence and time. True depth arises not from abundance, but from the little that tells a story.

WHY I LOVE MY WORK
Often it’s just a small moment that sets everything in motion – music in the background, a walk in the morning light, or a bird giving me a curious sideways glance. From these moments, a painting begins to grow. For me, painting isn’t a side activity – it’s a language beyond words.
A dialogue with the world – quiet, attentive, close.
Every line, every shade carries meaning. Sometimes it’s the calm of an animal, sometimes the vastness of a landscape. But always, it’s a fragment of what arises between stillness and motion. When I paint, time disappears. The outside world fades, and all that remains is the flow of color and form. It’s like meditation – a way to make the invisible visible.
