My love,
my story
Alessanara
I am an artist from Leipzig, creating paintings inspired by animals, nature, and atmospheric scenes with calm colors and soft transitions. Many of my works feel as though they emerged from mist or memory — reduced, quiet, and deeply connected to nature.
Animals have fascinated me for a long time. Their presence, their calmness, and their unique personalities are often the starting point of my paintings. What interests me is not perfection, but rather mood, expression, and the feeling a painting leaves behind.
My art is influenced by minimalist and Japanese-inspired aesthetics — natural colors, open spaces, and the idea that not everything needs to be fully explained.
I work with acrylic on canvas and also create fine art prints, cards, and paper products alongside my original paintings. My goal is to create small, quiet worlds that bring atmosphere into modern spaces and simply make people feel good.

WHY I LOVE MY WORK
Often, it is just a small moment that inspires a painting — music playing softly in the background, morning light, or an animal suddenly looking at me with quiet attention. My paintings grow out of moments like these. To me, art is not something grand, but rather a calm way of capturing things that are sometimes difficult to explain.
Every painting develops differently. Sometimes an animal is at the center, sometimes it is more about a certain mood, color, or feeling of light. When I paint, I often completely lose track of time. At that point, it is no longer about creating something perfect, but rather about allowing an atmosphere to emerge that feels calm and natural.
